DUTIES
The Executive Board shall consist of the Local President,
Vice President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer and the State Executive Board Member(s).
- The Executive Board shall exercise the legislative powers of this
Local Union.
- It shall be the duty of the Executive Board to ensure that the affairs
and business of the Local Union are being properly conducted.

| Beverly Henderson, President |
Beverly Henderson was elected President of Local 297 in
2011. She has been a member of the Mail Handlers Union for 25 years. She began her postal career in 1986 at the
NYI & BMC located in Secaucus, New Jersey. Beverly transferred to the KCMO P & DC in 1988. She served
as the Labor Coordinator for the Quality of Work Life Process from 1990 through 1999.

| Chris Bentley, Vice President & Springfield B.P. |
Chris Bentley began his Postal
Service career in 1998, and became a steward within 4 months. He became an arbitration advocate in 2000; was elected
Springfield, MO Branch President in 2002, and still holds the position in 2011. Chris was elected Mo.State Exec.
Board Member in 2008. Chris is a Union trainer and has been Chairman of Local 297's Arbitration Committee since
2006. He was elected Vice-President of Local 297 in 2011.cbentley@npmhulocal297.com
Nate Campbell began his postal career at the
KCMO P&DC in 1986. He has served as a Union Steward since 2001. Brother Campbell is currently serving his fifth consecutive term as Local Treasurer, as well as serving Local

| Marie Williams, Recording Secretary |
Marie Williams began her postal career
at the KCMO P&DC in 1986. She was elected to the position of Missouri State
Executive Board Member in 1999. Sister Williams is currently serving her fifth
consecutive term as Local Recording Secretary, as well as serving as Tour 2 Chief Steward at the KCMO P&DC.

| Greg Halda-Kansas State Executive Board Member |
In 2011 Greg Halda was
elected as the Kansas State Executive Board Member for Local 297. He is also an Alternate steward at the Kansas City,
Kansas NDC and serves as a Steward for the Shawnee Mission, Ks. branch. He started with the postal service as a Union

| Pam Collins-Missouri State Executive Board |
In 2011, Pam Collins was elected as the Missouri State Executive Board Member. She serves as a steward for
St. Joseph, Mo. and Independence, Mo. She has been a been a Mail Handler since 1988. She was also a safety representative
